When you access the system for the first time you will be asked to install the Winja Java Client.  NOTE: You must use Netscape 7.1 or higher. 

Please Note: Your computer must be Java Enabled in order to use this application.
 

If you are using Netscape 7.1 or higher follow these instructions:

1.    Go to http://winja.uconn.edu/

2.    You will see the following panel.  Click "Install Now" button to download the Winja client.

3.    You will see the following panel.  Wait for the Winja client to download.  A popup box will appear on your screen when the download is complete.

4.    When you see this panel, click OK and restart your browser.

5.   When you restart your browser you will see the following panel.  Check off the "Remember this decision" box and click "GRANT".

6.    This may happen several times.  Each time check the "Remember this decision" box and click "GRANT".

7.    You should see the following panel where you enter your employee # and personal identification number.
